Lead Your Horse to Water AND Make Them Drink! - Water your horse at least twice an hour, more on hot days. An average horse can consume over 25 gallons of water per day when the temperature is above 70°F. Never take your horse away from water while they are drinking. Check them for dehydration regularly.
